Men’s skateboarding had a great performance on Monday afternoon, helping Team USA increase the number of medals it has won.
The Team USA medal total in the skateboarding street event on Monday was increased by two thanks to the efforts of Jagger Eaton and Nyjah Huston.
Bronze medallist Eaton upgraded to silver in Paris. She competed in the Olympics in Tokyo. He was just a tenth of a point behind Japan’s Yuto Horigome, who successfully defended his gold medal, after finishing with a total score of 281.04 in the final.
After placing seventh in Tokyo, Huston ended with a 279.38, earning him bronze.
When it counted most, Horigome delivered a mind-boggling 97.08 on his last trick to give him a final score of 281.14, solidifying his status as the sole skateboarder to win the gold.
